Music player for blog [TUTORIAL]

Since so many of my friends are asking me

how to make a own music player for blog

instead of teaching you guys one by one

I decided to make a tutorial with pic and steps for you all

 

[note: if the pic is too small, right click it and open in new tab. It should get larger]

 

1st.

select what a music you want.

(you may download it from anywhere

if you download the mp3 file then SKIP THE FLVTO.COM’S STEP)

example you like a music in youtube

 

copy the url from address bar

example : www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qH4qyi1-Ys

 

after copy the link

go to

http://www.flvto.com/

 

then paste the link

click next

 

and you’ll have to wait for a minute for the file to be converted

 

as you can see

save the file

 

after the file is done downloading

make sure the file name is WITHOUT spacing

there’s spacing is this file

 

for example

so you can rename it as

rascalflatts_what_hurts_the_most.mp3

 

after you’re done this

go to

http://mydatanest.com/account/register

register as an user

and log in

 

after log in you’ll see

click on Upload

 

and then click on Select Files to browse your music you’ve downloaded just now

after you done browse your music file

you’ll have to wait for a couple minutes until it’s uploaded

 

after you done your upload

http://www.mdn.fm/folders go here and click on My Documents

 

as you see your music file

right click on it and click on Copy Link Location

example : http://www.mdn.fm/files/265253_9htxs/rascalflatts_what_hurts_the_most.mp3

 

 

now go to http://www.mixpod.com/

register as a user and log in like you does on the DATANEST

 

after log in

click on New Playlist

 

then click on any skin you like

example:

what you’ll have to do next is search for "Add Url"

click on Add URL

and paste in the link of your music in it

you may name the Artist and Title whatever you like

 

and then click on Add Track

you’ll see track is added below the player

click on the play button to test whether the link is working or not

 

if it’s not working then you’ll have to re-upload the music file

if it works = go to next step

 

click on Customize and edit the player’s Skins, Colors and Styles, Settings

 

when you’re done then click on Save Playlist

you’ll see this

 

finally click on the green button with “save (get code)” below

and it will come out with

remember to click on blogger to get the right code

copy the codes above then go to blogger

 

click on Design as you can see in the pic below

then click on Add gadget

and then select

HTML/JavaScript

and paste the codes just now into the Content’s space

you can whether let the Title blank or just key in anything you like

then click on save and move the gadget to anywhere you like

 

almost done

just a few clicks away

now save your blog

FINALLY you’re done ^^

 

view your blog and enjoy the music without video
